Overview
VQ Communications Agency is a 100% black woman owned and managed agency with experience built over 20 years in both public and private sector organisations. Our experience covers the broad spectrum of Communications interventions from Stakeholder Engagement, Media Management, Public Relations, Events Management to Political Communication and Reputation Management. We work with the client to find customised solutions to your specific challenge. Our experience covers Developmental Communications, particularly within the Local Government sphere of governance. Communication is at the heart of closing the distance between your organisation and its audiences or markets. At the heart of each of our solutions is the desire to bring you closer to your audiences.
The Founder
A seasoned Communications and Public Affairs Strategist now consulting to various sectors, backed by over 20-years of experience advising and leading Communication campaigns and other interventions in public and private sector organisation. My consulting business can deliver solutions with the desired impacts because we leverage on the years of experience, I have in advising Chief Executive Officers in the private sector and Political Leaders in Government on Communication interventions. One of the most successful Communication Awareness Campaigns I led was South Africa’s ground-breaking Local Government Turn Around Strategy (LGTAS) which covered the nine Provinces and 278 municipalities in the country. Developing and implementing a successful Change Management Communication strategy at a German multi-national automotive giant during a global restructuring process has empowered us with the ability to provide practical yet sustainable solutions as organisations are constantly having to navigate consistent changes in recent times. As a former Journalist, writing, building narratives and story-telling are at the core of the creative yet strategic solutions we bring to the table, to get your organisation’s message understood. I am a Non-Executive Director of various Boards, a member of the Institute of Directors South Africa (IoDSA), the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and the Malgid Ntlebi Foundation which a Non-Profit Organisation in the Eastern Cape.
